You go to turn your head to look down upon your hands, but you realize you can't; your field of view is fixed dead ahead. Perturbed, you raise your right hand in front of your face and your fear grips you.

Instead of your familiar flesh and blood hand, a metallic pincer lay glinting in front of you. What did they DO to you!?

Incinerated of course. No point in keeping it around. Besides, we never expected you to survive your mission anyway.
