UN General Assembly: 

You play the ambassador to the UN from a recently independent small island nation. You are entrusted with a free hand by the nation's boy king to make what decisions you feel are in the fledgling nation's best interests.

From here, you can take part in various UN general assembly votes, accept or decline invitations to various social functions, choose to meet with various ambassadors in private and possibly make bilateral agreements. 

You can also choose your own priorities. You can work to enrich yourself to the detriment of your people, you can entertain democratic or communist interests, both of whom who abhor the absolute monarchy back home, perhaps working with them to enact regime change or a coup. You can work to secure infrastructure deals from major world powers in exchange for the exploitation of your nation's rich marine wealth and cheap native labor. 

I have literally dozens and dozens of ideas to add to this, but I think the point comes across.
