A downloadable asset pack

A multiplayer IF game using a similar 2 file structure as Amanda Walker's "The Purple Pearl" found on the interactive fiction database (ifdb.org).

You are a squirrel hiding nuts.

It's a full map, with forest, and a barn and a house. There are numerous places to hide your nuts.

Some places are better than others.

Once you've buried or hidden the last one, the game generates a code you copy and send to a friend with the other game file.

When they boot it up, it asks for the code.

Which then puts all the nuts in their chosen hiding place.

It basically creates a seed for the map.

It is later in the winter and squirrel is hungry.

The other player has to find as many nuts as they can. When they're done, a code is generated.

Which is passed back to the first player.

They plug this in, and it passes on all the nuts the 2nd player missed, which are now little tree saplings on the game map, and the squirrel is gathering nesting material that spring for its coming babies.

You should probably pass it back to the second player at least one more time, to keep things even.

Maybe as the adolescent squirrel leaving the nest for the first time?

The first three bits (1st player, 2nd player, 1st player again) are all the same squirrel.

The 4th bit maybe the baby squirrel POV?

It's not weighted well, at the moment. Player 1 has 2x as much content as player 2.

Was thinking there could be obvious places to hide nuts, less obvious, and totally crazy places.

Almost like asynchronous battleship, but less violent and with parsers.

Anyway. Cooperative hide-and-seek nut hiding game with cute squirrels.
